Households with more than two adult residents are required to pay the "Other" rate for each additional adult living on the premises who will be joining the pool.
A senior discount of 10% is applicable to annual renewal fee, provided that the senior is the owner and resides in the home with valid ID (65 years old or older).
Early payment discount of $20 if you pay before April 15, 2017.

The following rules and regulations are for your benefit and for the protection of our facilities. Failure to comply with these rules and regulations shall be considered sufficient cause for suspension or termination of membership.

ENFORCEMENT

The Club Manager, Anchor Aquatics/Lifeguards will enforce these Rules & Regulations.

Only the Club Manager and the Chairman of the Pool Committee have the authority to direct the Facilities Management or other employees concerning the operation of the facilities.  The Club Manager and the Pool Committee will report to the Vice President/President after implementation of any enforcement actions taken in accordance with these Rules and Regulations.

Facilities Management may restrict any action in the facilities that in its judgment may be prejudicial to the health and safety of others, destructive, and/or detrimental to the appearance of the property.

  1. FACILITIES OPERATION

1.1.  Days of Operation: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day May 27, 2017 through September 4, 2017.

  1. EXTENDED POOL HOURS

2.1.  The pool hours may be extended without notice by the Facilities Management.

  1. SPECIAL CONDITIONS

3.1.  Swimming may be curtailed because of Swim Team practice and/or swimming instructions Monday through Friday, except holidays.

3.2.  Swimming will be curtailed during Swim Meets. Notice of Meets will be posted on the bulletin board at the entrance of the pool at least 72 hours in advance of the event.  Normal pool hours will resume 20 minutes after the completion of the swim meet.

3.3.  You must be 18 years of age to swim during the Adult Break.

3.4.   The facilities may be closed during extreme inclement weather, and activities may be curtailed or postponed as deemed necessary by facilities management.

3.5.  The facilities may be closed for maintenance or other reasons involving health and safety. Notice of such closing will be posted at the entrance and/or otherwise announced as circumstances permit.

3.6. Closing time may be extended on special occasions.

3.7.  The use of the EECA, Inc. park facility by pool members is restricted to Days of Operation during daylight hours. Private events use of the park may be arranged through the Manager on Duty.

  1. MEMBERS ADMISSION TO FACILITIES

4.1. Members must present proof of membership (current year EECA ID bracelet) upon entering the facility at check in.

4.2. Children 11 years of age or under must be accompanied by their parents, guardian or someone 16 years of age or older whom the parents have authorized, in writing to the EECA Pool Administrator, as responsible for these children while in the facilities.

4.3. Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children and guest(s) in the pool, including those who have passed the Deep-Water Swim test (see 11 below).

  1. GUESTS ADMISSION TO FACILITIES

5.1. Members must check in guests and accompany them at all times.

5.2.  A guest privilege shall consist of the use of the Corporation’s facilities.

5.3. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure all guests comply with these rules and regulations.

5.4.  Members 15 years of age and under may not bring guests to the facility alone. At least one member adult must be on-site.

5.5.  No person (unless covered under 5.6 below) may be a guest more than two times each month for a total of 6 times each year. Service months consist of May/June, July, and August/September.

5.6. A houseguest (defined as a person visiting in a member’s house and remaining overnight for at least three consecutive nights) may have guest privileges during this stay. A seven-day maximum applies and appropriate guest fees will be assessed. Members may also make arrangements for a seasonal houseguest who is living in their home for the summer and is limited to two persons per season. Appropriate guest fees will be assessed.

5.7.  Members employing an adult daycare provider may arrange for seasonal houseguest privileges.  Appropriate guest fees will be assessed. Picture ID required.  (See Membership Application Fee Schedule posted online.)

5.8. Babysitters of pool members’ children may be considered as houseguests provided the member employing the babysitter registers the babysitter with Facilities Management. Picture ID required. (See Membership Application Fee Schedule posted online.)

5.9. Admission of guests*, at any given time, shall be at the discretion of the Club Management.

5.10. To insure the success of any member sponsored group event, exceeding six (6) members/non-member guests, shall obtain and fill out an event request sheet and provided it to the Club Manager at least one (1) week in advance of the event.

5.11. Members shall provide adequate on-site supervision for all guests. A guest list must be provided for all parties. Fee schedule is provided at time of registration.

5.12. The Club Manager shall be the approval authority for weekend Events.

* Guest Limitations:  Members take precedence over all guests.  Weekend guest entry will be at the sole discretion of the Club Manager in keeping with Anne Arundel County Pool Capacity Limitations.

  1. GUEST FEES

6.1. Daily Guest Passes are $5.00 per guest during week days and $10.00 per guest on weekends.

6.2. Guest Pass Punch Cards can be purchased at $25.00 for six (6) Guest Passes.

6.3. Seasonal, Extended Stay passes are available, terms and conditions apply.

6.4. Children under the age of two years – no charge.

6.5. Guest fees are subject to adjustment by the Board of Directors with 7-days’ notice.

6.6. Non-member guest fee for member sponsored events is $5,00 per guest to be paid by the member sponsor at the end of the scheduled event.

  1. GENERAL

7.1. EECA, Inc. property includes pool, park, and parking lot.

7.2. Pets are not allowed inside the pool enclosure.  Pets on EECA, Inc. property must be on lead.

7.3. NO GLASS CONTAINERS of any kind permitted on EECA, Inc. property.

7.4. No Spitting in the pool enclosure.

7.5. Use of alcoholic beverages on EECA Inc. property is strictly controlled. NO alcoholic beverages are permitted in the park. “Reasonable use” within the pool area is allowed, however, walking around in the pool area with open containers is strictly prohibited. The Manager on Duty is solely responsible for determining what is “reasonable use”.

7.6. All gambling is prohibited, except for special events approved by the EECA Board of Directors.

7.7. All persons shall comply with posted traffic regulations – 5 MPH on Facility property.

7.8. Disrespectful, profane language and any infraction of these rules shall be cause for ejection from the facility and possible suspension/termination of membership without refund for additional infractions.

7.9. Everyone is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the facility including the disposal of his or her own trash, particularly in the snack bar area.

7.10. Members shall provide supervision of their families and guests on all EECA, Inc. property.

7.11. All persons entering the pool/park facility and taking part in the activities provided; do so at their OWN RISK.

7.12. Participation on the Evergreen Swim Team, LLC. is managed and supervised by an authorized SPY, ASC representative.  Members of the swim team join and participate at their own risk. Swim Team is independently owned and operated and not an affiliate of EECA, Inc.

7.13. Pool and Park Lot are tobacco free.

7.14. All incidents resulting in personal injury or property damage must be reported immediately to the Manager on Duty. Threats of personal injury or property damage, unsafe conditions and inappropriate behavior should be reported immediately to the Manager on Duty.

7.15. Members and their guests are responsible for their personal property. Personal property left on the premises will be put in the lost and found for a period of time not to exceed 2 weeks. Lost and found articles will be discarded at the discretion of the Management.

  1. COMMUNICATIONS

8.1. The pool facility number is (410) 647-1433 and is limited to use by the Pool Administrator, Club Manager on Duty, and Life Guards. Outgoing calls are reserved for emergencies.

8.2. Cell phone use is permitted provided that your call does not disturb the quiet of others.

8.3. The Manager on Duty or any Lifeguard can ask that you discontinue cell phone use if your call is disruptive to others.

8.4. The Pool’s Club Administrator may be emailed at eecapool@gmail.com.

  1. FACILITIES RESTRICTIONS

9.1. Admission may be refused to anyone with open wounds, colds, infections, bandages, or communicable diseases unless the individual has a release from a physician stating that the problem is not contagious to others in the facility.

9.2. The Wading Pool will not be available for use during swim meets.

  1. MAIN SWIMMING POOL RESTRICTIONS

10.1. Children under 11 years of age may not go into water over their shoulders unless the Deep-Water Swimming Test (see 11. below) has been passed.

10.2. A child under 10 years of age must be closely supervised (e.g. within arms’ length) while in the main pool by a person (parent, guardian, or designee16 years or older) unless the child has passed the Deep-Water Swimming Test.

10.3. Water wings are permitted with parental supervision and only in the areas designated by the lifeguard.  Child must be within arm’s reach at all times.

10.4. Non-Toilet trained* children are not permitted in the Main Swimming Pool.

* Non-Toilet Trained is defined as any child requiring a diaper of any kind. Since any incident involving release of fecal matter into the pool requires immediate closing of the pool for 4 to 48 hours depending on severity of contamination, this rule will be strictly enforced by Club Management.

  1. DEEP-WATER SWIMMING TEST

11.1. Dive or jump into the deep end of the main pool and swim the length of the pool.

11.2. Tread water for one (1) minute.

11.3. Test is monitored by one of the Life Guards on duty.

  1. WADING POOL RESTRICTIONS

12.1.  A person (parent, guardian, or designee16 years or older) must supervise children, and that person must stay within the Wading Pool Enclosure.

12.2. Non-Toilet trained children using the wading pool must wear Facilities Management approved diaper/training pants in accordance with Anne Arundel County (AAC) Health Codes.  Approved pants are available at the office for $3.00 per pair.  Consult the Manager on Duty for a list of approved swim pants.

12.3. In the event of fecal contamination the wading pool will be closed in accordance with AAC Health Department Regulations. The wading pool is separately filtered from the main pool so contamination of the wading pool does not normally affect the main pool.

  1. SWIMMING POOL HEALTH AND SAFETY

13.1. All persons must shower before entering the pool.

13.2. No running, pushing or horseplay is permitted in the pool enclosure.

13.3. Food and refreshments are permitted on the pool apron.

13.4. The pool must not be used as a substitute for sanitary facilities.

13.5. Blowing of nose into the pool is prohibited.

13.6. General swimming is not permitted in the diving area.

13.7. Jumping or diving is not permitted from the sides of the diving area.

13.8. Only one person is allowed on the diving board at any time.

13.9. Swimming aids, balls, tubes, etc. may be used in the pool area only with the permission of Facilities Management. At no time are non-swimmers allowed with flotation devices unless supervised by someone over 18 years old (with exception of pre-approved babysitters 16 years and older) within arm’s reach.

13.10. During adult swim, children may not dangle legs in the swim lanes or play catch over the pool area.

  1. PLAYGROUND/PARK

14.1. Use of playground equipment is at your own risk.

14.2. Littering or destruction of property and unruly behavior will not be tolerated.

14.3. Use of the Playground/Park by non EECA, Inc. resident pool members is restricted to Days of Operation.

14.4. Playground/Park Hours Sunrise to Sunset.

14.5. The Facilities Management may close Playground/Park without advanced notice for EECA, Inc. Community Events, Private Events, or Emergency Situations.

  1. PICNIC AREAS/SNACK BAR

15.1. Grills and tables are provided within the fenced area.

15.2. Use caution before igniting propane grills.

15.3. Clean grills after use with brush provided.

15.4. Dispose of all trash and recyclables in containers provided.

15.5. Never leave a lighted grill unattended.

15.6. Tables and grills are available on a first come basis.  Contact the Club Manager for event reservations.

15.7. Do not leave towels on the snack bar tables after you have left the area, they will be placed in the lost and found.

15.8. All Event guests to the Pool/Park must check in with the Manager on Duty at the Pool Office upon arrival.
